taking notes | my love for paper and the Word

For as long as I can remember I've loved paper. A brand new black and white composition book, a brightly colored stack of construction paper, a lined notepad for jotting down lists, a blank journal with an embellished cover - all of these bring a smile to my face, so I hardly ever leave Target without one (as evidenced by the above image). But as much as I love notebooks, I hardly ever use them. Every notebook in that stack is completely blank! Recently I decided to change that, and on Sunday I brought that black and white notebook (a birthday gift from Laura) to church. I can't think of a better way to fill my notebooks than with sermon notes and scripture, so that's what I'm going to do. If you go to church, do you take notes? I used to, but I've gotten out of the habit and think it will be good for me to get back into it. Thankfully, I have plenty of blank notebooks!

  2. I love notebooks as well - they make such perfect gifts when you have no idea what to give. I'm using a Leuchtturm1917 right now but I might buy a Rhodia just for kicks

  4. yes sometimes when you have such a beautiful notebook you feel guilty using it... I guess men would laugh at that!
