pizza for dinner | a picnic in Providence

On Monday we had a little impromptu picnic downtown so Matt could work on some new lighting techniques he had been wanting to try. We stopped at Nice Slice to pick up a pizza for dinner. Just so you know, Nice Slice pizza has the thinnest and crispiest (most crispy?) crust you'll ever see on a pizza and it. is. so. good.

Matt and Ezra ordered our pie (half pesto/half pineapple)...

while I took artsy photos of my Sperry clad feet with the seal of Rhode Island.

We headed up the street to one of the Brown greens and spread out a quilt so we could eat our dinner. Unfortunately the wind picked up and temperature seemed to plummet as soon as we sat down.

The weather conditions led to Ezra bundling up in the quilt while he munched on an apple for dessert.

P.S. If you're reading, happy 23rd birthday, Brendan!
